There are just some things you need close at hand - especially when you are relaxing in your living room or entertainment room. You need to know where the important things in life are. I especially like this storage ottoman because it has 3 individual flip-top trays. This is different from many pieces where you must lift the entire lid at once. The 3-tray option means that you have individual compartments, and you don't have to clean off the entire top to open the trays. This to me is a huge benefit.
This is a high-end product, so you can expect to pay several hundred dollars. Retail is little north of 0, but you can get it for less than 0 if you can find it on sale. It is really a lovely furniture piece, and it offers beautiful storage at a decent price.
The Jameson Double Storage Ottoman with Tray Tables is similar to the one above, but it comes in at about half the price. It has two tray tables that you can lift to access the storage area. It also comes with two smaller square ottomans that actually can be stored inside the large ottoman if you would like. This product is just as wide and deep as the one above (actually a few inches more), but it is about 6" shorter. But it is a great value for someone who wants to meet in the middle between quality and price.
Finally, the Home Square-Shaped Faux-Leather Storage Ottoman with Tray is a basic product that comes at a fantastic price. It is one of the most popular ottomans online. It offers a 15" x 15" x 15" storage space, and it is a perfect stand alone piece that can be used in almost any decor.
You can use this for resting your feet on it, but not really for sitting. It has a 150 pound weight limit, so that excludes a lot of people. You wouldn't want people to get in the habit of sitting on this. However, it is great for hiding your everyday things that you need to keep close at hand.
